LEED Tracker

Learning Engineering Evidence & Decision Tracker. A multi-tenant platform for learning engineering teams to document, justify and iterate on design decisions throughout the lifecycle of educational projects.

Everything your team needs

Capture thinking, reasoning and evidence systematically throughout your design process.

Multi-tenant workspaces

Organize teams into separate tenants with their own projects, team members and decision records.

Decision threading

Link decisions to show evolution and iteration, and track direction changes and revisits.

Evidence & justification

Attach evidence, documents and detailed justifications to every decision.

SI team personas

Create SI personas to fill team roles, and consult with them in isolated conversation threads.

Category management

Organize decisions by custom categories with icons and colors for easy visual identification.

Project evolution

Track team member changes, decision history and project evolution over time.

Built for learning engineering teams

  • Multi-role: business stakeholders, instructional designers and analytics experts.
  • Iterative: revisit and revise decisions as your project evolves.
  • Evidence-based: ground decisions in research, data and stakeholder input.

Teams can get started for free.

Research basis

LEED Tracker is based on the Learning Engineering Evidence and Decision (LEED) tracker developed by Totino & Kessler (2024), described in the Journal of Applied Instructional Design article “Why Did We Do That? A Systematic Approach to Tracking Decisions in the Design and Iteration of Learning Experiences”.

This project includes work derived from research supported by the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS) of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) under Grant Number 1R43ES037510-01.
